Ontario couple living in minivan for 3 years pleads for help

An Ontario couple in its late 50s is pleading for help after spending the last three-and-a-half years living in a minivan.

Jerry Power, 59, and Sandra Graham, 57, said they were evicted from their apartment in Cambridge, Ont. and had no other choice but to move into their grey Nissan Quest minivan.

Injured workers call for reversal of WSIB’s 30 percent premium rate reduction for employers

MANITOULIN––The president of the Manitoulin-North Shore Injured Workers Coalition (MNSIWG) said he is shocked at the Ford government’s announcement last week that they are slashing the amount businesses will pay to support the insurance system that protects injured workers instead of making investments to ensure the program adequately provides injured workers with the support they need.
