Canada Auto Insurance Providers Must Connect with Customers through Technology

The recent J.D. Power 2016 Insurance Digital Evaluation Study highlighted a rift between consumers and insurance companies online. The study (in its fifth year) found that only 55 per cent of those asked would return to their insurer’s website to have service needs met. Updating a user profile or adding a driver or vehicle to a policy were the largest frustrations for customers, scoring the lowest satisfaction points.

Claims settlement a particularly “fuzzy concept” for Quebec drivers, new poll suggests

WSIB and the Workplace Injury: Why You Need to Apply

Being a paralegal is a second career for me. Before becoming a paralegal, I, like many hardworking people in this country, suffered a workplace injury; an equipment malfunction resulted in an injury to my shoulder. The injury was serious enough to impair my ability to lift moderate to heavy weight, which was a major component of my job duties on an assembly line. Since the injury occurred while I was working, I was thrust into the world of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).
